Bille Joe Armstrong's Online Followers Help Find Lost Dog
. (Radio.com) When a pitbull named Mochi was stolen from her home in San Francisco, her owners took to social media to let the world know. They had photos of the dog and the person who stole her. The images made their way to Jim Thiebaud, former professional skate boarder and the co-founder of punk label Adeline Records along with Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day. Armstrong himself picked up on Thiebaud's post, reposting it to his Instagram account, and CBS San Francisco reports that his call to action prompted several of his followers to come out and join the search for Mochi. In less than a day following Armstrong's post, and three days since she first went missing, Mochi was found and returned to her home. Read more here.
