Brantley Gilbert Celebrates Fallen Soldier In New Video
. (Radio.com) Brantley Gilbert celebrates the life of a fallen soldier in his new video. The country singer continues to get mileage out of his song "One Hell of an Amen," which was the third single from his recently released full-length Just as I Am, in a new clip that weaves together different peoples' touching stories. It's all based on the chorus of the song, which has him singing, "An' that's One Hell of an Amen/ That's the only way to go/ Fightin' the good fight/ Til the Good Lord calls you home." Centered around Gilbert's performance of the track in an overgrown church, the video follows the lives of a fallen soldier and a man who discovers he has cancer. These emotional stories of men dying too young are only heightened by the song's bluesy guitar wails. Gilbert reportedly wrote the track after returning from a USO tour in 2013 and, since its release, he says it's help people mourn. 'These songs are actually changin' people's lives, and that's definitely music in a whole for me," he told Country Music Is Love. 'That's what it's all about." Read more and watch the video here.
