Christina Aguilera Opens Up About New Baby And New Music
. (Extra) Only "Extra's" Renee Bargh was with Christina Aguilera for a one-on-one interview as she prepared to return to "The Voice." Christina opened up for the first time about her new baby with fiance Matthew Rutler, 5-month-old Summer Rain. "I have a chill baby, she's just so calm and so easy to make laugh and smile, she's just a breeze, thank GOD!" Christina said. "She's just so beautiful, these big blue eyes, she's just so gorg very happy and feel very blessed having Summer Rain in my life." Aguilera recently shared the first picture of her daughter on social media showing her wearing a pink dress and a diaper that reads, "Lil Diva." She told Renee about the pic, "Her little tushy! The little chunky legs. I love it, I love to nibble on them." Her son Max, from her previous marriage, is loving being a big brother. "He's just so endearing and sweet to her, the only thing, I'm like 'Wash your hands before you touch the baby' you don't want the germs. He's in school, he's 7, there's a little age gap, but it's perfect though, because then they don't fight over toys, but he's the big helper and the big teacher, so he's awesome, he's just so loving and sweet. I'm like, 'How old are you?' He's like a grandma to her, he's just like, 'I'll teach you everything.'" In addition to returning to work on "The Voice," Christina is busy working on new music. She is also working with fellow coach Pharrell. "During my pregnancy, I had a meeting with him and just connected on where I want to take the next album, and we started talking music, and he has one song in particular that I love." What can fans expect from her new music? "It's genuine and it's heartfelt and I'm very excited to pour my heart out into this record fully, I've been gathering and writing and coming up with these amazing ideas for different parts of how I was feeling the past year, so I'm really excited to vocalize all of it and make it all come together."
