Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Announce Album and Tour (Recap)
. The former Oasis star wrote and produced the new album himself. He had this to say about the experience, "It was a major pain in the arse. It's not that I've ever had people telling me what to write or what direction to go in, but managing sessions from one end of the week to the other proved extremely difficult. "I had all these people looking at me and saying: 'right, what are we doing today?' I was making the whole thing up as I went along." Fans can pre-order the album in various formats here. The group also announced that they will be launching a North American tour in support of the album. The trek is scheduled to kick off on May 3rd in Toronto at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts and will wrap up on June 7th with an appearance at the Governor's Ball in New York City. - Check out the album's tracklisting and the upcoming tour dates here.
