The Decemberists Sing About Kim Kardashian on TV (Recap)
. Well, good news: Jimmy Kimmel found a way to make them more interesting to you on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kimmel, who has been getting celebrities to read mean tweets for years, featured the indie band singing some rather trolly YouTube comments. So, if the band's lyrics such as "Sweet descend this rabble 'round the pretty little patter of a seaport town/Rolling in the water and rolling down the old main drag/All dolled up in gabardine, the lash-flashing Leda of pier nineteen" (from "Down By The Water") never quite grabbed you, you may find that you enjoy this number about Kim Kardashian: "OMG she proved she didn't have a butt implants [sic] with a butt x-ray and she admitted she gets Botox, she does squats!" It's possible that you felt what the Decemberists were missing was more songs about Justin Bieber. No prob! They blew minds with this rocker: "Beaver [sic] is a cocky little punk who thinks he can piss on people cuz he is worth 160 million!" They kept it fair and balanced, singing a response to the above comment, and this one is sure to become one of their biggest hits: "Shut up he hot and he can do whatever!" Watch it - here.
