Rolling Stones Play To Record-Breaking Crowd At Final Tour Stop
. The Quebec City Summer Festival is an annual 11-day music event held in the city's downtown during the first week of July. The final date saw the Stones play before a record-breaking crowd of 102,000 fans, who saw an 18-song set of classics that opened with tehri 1981 hit, "Start Me Up", and wclosed with their signature tune, "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." The band recorded a video message thanking everyone who came to the 15-show tour, which opened in San Diego on May 24. "I met a lot of old friends," says Keith Richards, "and made a lot of new ones." "I think we seem to be getting the hang of this," joked Mick Jagger before adding a hint of possible things to come. "I think maybe we should do it again sometime."
