Fetty Wap Performs 'Trap Queen' On Jimmy Kimmel

(Radio.com) Summer is a natural confluence of gravity, orbital tilt, and cultural reactions to normal temperature flux. To speak of "owning" summer is ridiculous--nobody ever claims to own spring, or winter. You can't own weather patterns. Right? Wrong.

Fetty Wap's path to Genghis Khan-style domination of summer just got a little smoother, with a rendition of his smash hit "Trap Queen" live on Jimmy Kimmel. Wap performed in front of the band Phony Ppl--they convert the song's scintillating synth cascades into funky piano stabs backed by live drums.

This comes just a week after two major summer victories for Wap--appearing in a major slot at Summer Jam, and receiving a cover from the god Ed Sheeran.

Don't just watch from the comfort of your own couch--Fetty will be touring all summer long, performing on the 'One Hell Of A Nite" tour with Chris Brown, Kid Ink, Teyana Taylor, and more. Watch the Kimmel performance here.
