Johnny Depp Injured Filming 'Pirates' Sequel

(Radio.com) While in Australia to shoot Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Johnny Depp reportedly injured himself to the extent that he had to fly back to the United States for surgery, Variety reports. While the cause is not yet known, it is apparently not severe enough to cause the film's July 7, 2017, release date to be pushed back--which was already delayed from the initial 2015 release set by Disney. The film, which marks the fifth installment in the franchise, also features female lead Kaya Scodelario, Javier Bardem, Orlando Bloom and Brenton Thwaites. Read more here.
