Death Cab For Cutie Release New Song 'Little Wanderer'
. (Radio.com) Death Cab For Cutie have treated listeners to yet another song from their upcoming album, Kintsugi. The fourth track they've previewed, called "Little Wanderer," is the most subdued look at their final full-length with founding member Chris Walla. It's also the most guitar-driven, with a slow-burning tone, which is Walla's forte. Lyrically, Gibbard is introspective, as usual, singing a long distance relationship, something with which he's very familiar. "You send a photo out your window of Paris/ Of what you wish I could see/ But someone has got to be a lighthouse/ And that someone has got to be me/ And I hope your absence makes us grow fonder/ I hope we always feel the same/ When our eyes meet past security we embrace in the baggage claim," he sings. The track follows up "No Room in Frame," "Black Sun" and "The Ghosts of Beverly Drive." Death Cab For Cutie's new album Kintsugi is out March 31. Listen to the new song here.
