Protest Over Kanye West Headlining Famed Music Festival
. (Radio.com) NME reports that a new petition aims to nix Kanye West's headlining set at the Glastonbury festival, because fans believe only rock bands should be headlining it. That sentiment was certainly expressed within the fest's social media channels and in a Change.org petition, posted by Neil Lonsdale of the U.K. "Cancel Kanye West's headline slot and get a rock band," its title demands, adding soon after that the rapper is an "insult to music fans all over the world." "Kanye has been very outspoken on his views on music'" he wrote. "He should listen to his own advice and pass his headline slot on to someone deserving! "Lets [sic] prevent this musical injustice now!" Read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
