Passion Pit Get Trapped In A Mosh Pit In 'Lifted Up" Video
. (Radio.com) Usually the dance floor is made out to be the greatest place in music videos, but Passion Pit subvert that trope in their latest visual for "Lifted Up." Looking like the most tired guy at a rave, Michael Angelakos gives a much more realistic portrayal of what it's like to try to navigate the crowded space. Spoiler: he gets trapped in a mosh pit. The clip is a different world from the visuals the band shared for "Where the Sky Hangs," where two children lay in storybook-like grass while gazing up into the sky, and the premiere of "Lifted Up," which featured a melancholy child turned away from his family's dinner table. Both tracks appear on Passion Pit's next album Kindred, which follows up their 2012 breakout full-length Gossamer. Their third album drops April 21 on Columbia. Watch the video here.
