Kendrick Lamar Most Likely Won't Release Song From Colbert Appearance
. (Radio.com) Months ago, Kendrick Lamar appeared on The Colbert Report and performed an untitled new song. But while many assumed the song would appear on his latest album To Pimp a Butterfly, it's in fact nowhere to be found. Now, the only place you can hear the song is in video from that particular Colbert performance. Terrace Martin, who produced eight tracks on To Pimp A Butterfly, gave an interview to Complex Magazine explaining that the song isn't coming out any time soon. He claims that the song was written specifically for that performance, with the intention of creating "just a moment." There are no studio masters of the song available anywhere. Read more here.
