Ed Sheeran Recruits Goodfellas Star Ray Liotta For New Video (Recap)
. The video features a remix of "Bloodstream", the original version is part of Sheeran's 2014 album "X". The pop star tweeted his excitement about landing Liotta for the new video, "Thanks to Ray Liotta for an amazing performance, what a champ." Watch the cinematic clip, directed by Emil Nava, here. Sheeran also announced the launch of his very own record label during an interview with Australian radio station Nova FM (via ABC Radio). He said, "I've set up my first record label, it's called Gingerbread and [British singer-songwriter] Jamie Lawson is my first signing." Lawson is currently the supporting act for Sheeran's Australian tour and was the inspiration for the new label. "Jamie was pretty much the catalyst for this, because I saw Jamie, I heard the songs, and I was like, 'Why isn't anyone paying attention to this? I'll just do it myself,'" Sheeran said. "I think the risk might not always work out, but I can guarantee that everything I put out will be good." He adds, "This is a thing that I'm doing because I'm frustrated with the way that record labels work, because no one takes risks anymore." Stream the interview and read more - here.
