Miranda Lambert Lands New Country Living Gig

(Radio.com) Miranda Lambert graces the June cover of Country Living magazine, but that's not all. The "Little Red Wagon" singer serves as the first guest editor for the magazine where she talks about everything from making jam with husband Blake Shelton to the place she's most inspired to write.

'My dad taught me to live off the land," Lambert told Country Living. "I now have my own garden, but Blake is really the gardener. This year, we're planting tomatoes and strawberries to make jam. I have a little downtime this summer, so I'm looking forward to this task [of making jam]."

In the issue she also discussed on the 7 Essentials For Good Country Living. Lambert said having a home that's inviting and relaxing are key to good country living.

"When you visit someone in the country, they better offer you a glass of iced tea--in a Mason jar, of course. It's cliche because it's true," she admitted. "Some of my best conversations have happened over the clink-clink of iced tea in a jar. It's the soundtrack of country life." Read more here.
