Tim McGraw Working On New Album, Hopes To Release This Year

. (Radio.com) Tim McGraw may have new music out as early as this fall. In an interview with CBS News, the country singer revealed that he's recently been in the studio working on the early stages of what could be his follow-up to 2014's Sundown Heaven Town.

"We started working on it a couple of weeks ago, so we're right in the thick of it now," he told CBS News. "Over the next couple of weeks I will be working in the studio a lot, putting a lot of touches on the record."

McGraw said he's "really excited" about the new music and hopes to release it before the year closes. "That would be the goal. I would love to get some music out to my fans sometime in the fall. Who knows though? You gotta sort of let the music develop as you go along," he said. Read more here.
