One Direction's Liam Payne Covers Oasis Hit 'Wonderwall' (Recap)

.
On Wednesday One Direction's Liam Payne Covers Oasis Hit 'Wonderwall' was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) In a recent interview with Capital FM in the UK, Liam Payne of One Direction made clear that his band's new album is taking inspiration from one of the great British boy bands of yesteryear--Oasis.

"The album's coming together really well, actually," he said then. "The boys, we've been writing with have come up with some great, great songs that are kind of like a bit Oasis-y almost, which is ace. I love that."

Now it looks like that love is more than just skin-deep. On vacation in Mexico Payne spent an afternoon with a crowded bar leading a rousing singalong to "Wonderwall," with fan-shot video surfacing, naturally--doesn't it always these days?

In the video, Payne sings the first part of the call-and-response, and then holds his microphone up to the crowd so they can fill in the last part--"I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do, about you now!" Watch it - here.
