Psy Set To Release New Album in December

(Radio.com) "Gangnam Style" hitmaker Psy took to Twitter on Monday to announce the release date for his new album. The as-of-yet untitled effort will arrive on December 1st.

The Korean singer posted a cartoon image of himself on Twitter with the caption "#newPSYs-t20151201". It will mark his first new album since he released his breakout hit single "Gangnam Style." It is also Psy's first new album since his 2010 effort PsyFive and the follow-up to 2012's PSY 6 (Six Rules), Part 1 EP.

"Gangnam Style" peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The video for the song went viral and is still the most-watched music video in the history of YouTube. It has been viewed over 2.4 billion times, more than doubling the second most viewed clip, Taylor Swift's video for "Blank Space." See his post here.
