.
(Radio.com) A Jay Z freestyle from back in 1999 in time Shawn Carter was still calling himself Jigga has surfaced on the internet. Recorded during the Vol. 3Life and Times of S. Carter, the four-minute track contains bars from songs like "Do It Again (Put Ya Hands Up)," Come and Get Me," and "NYMP."

Jay's confidence was still high as he proclaimed he was the "Jordan of rap." Carter also claims he's the dopest person out, second only to Jesus Christ. He does show some concern about where he is in his career when he questions, "Have I truly arrived or am I somewhere between?"

Jay has come a long way as an artist. In 1999 he was rapping about stunting with diamond jewelry on. Now you hear him spitting bars about texting with the President. What a time to be alive. Check it out here.
