Justin Bieber Talks Selena Gomez-Inspired Songs on 'Purpose'
. The 21-year-old singer previously stated that three of the songs on his new album are about his former relationship with Gomez. Ellen scoured Bieber who semi-reluctantly opened up revealing that "What Do You Mean," "Sorry," and "Mark My Words" were all inspired by his first love. Bieber also shared that he is still dealing with their split saying, "It is tough, there is a lot of stuff that reminds me of her. You know like in relationships you'll see things on TV and you say to yourself, 'Oh, I remember when we used to watch that show' or a smell will remind me of a time." He also said that they two could reunite one day. 'I think we are both on our own journeys of figuring ourselves out," Bieber told Ellen. 'I think maybe once we figure ourselves out we can come together and make an awesome duo or she'll find someone awesome and I'll find someone awesome. I just want her to be happy, honestly." The pop star then performed an acoustic version of his hit "Sorry" with guitarist and musical director Dan Kanter. Watch it here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. |
