(Radio.com) In response to the Paris terror attacks that sent shockwaves around the globe, Coldplay asks fans to "Imagine" a new world. The band started off their show this past weekend at the Los Angeles' Belasco Theatre with John Lennon's iconic song and continued with a string of tracks dedicated to the people of France, including 'Sparks," "Yellow," 'Us Against The World" and 'Fix You."

The band canceled a live stream of the show, which was supposed to showcase material from their upcoming album, out of "respect for the terrible events in Paris."

"For those of you already down at the venue and those on your way, we'll play a short set of old material so that your journey isn't wasted," the band said in a statement. "We send our love and prayers to the people of Paris. Love Coldplay." Check out video here.
