Wiz Khalifa Scores First Hip Hop Video With One Billion Views

10/13/2015
.
(Radio.com) Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's video for "See You Again," has become the first hip hop video to score over one billion views on YouTube. The clip--which made its debut back in April--is a tribute to actor Paul Walker, who passed away in a single vehicle accident in 2013.

"See You Again" is featured on the soundtrack for the film Furious 7. The track peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 12 non-consecutive weeks, tying Eminem's "Lose Yourself" for the longest-running rap number-one hit in the country.

The Marc Klasfeld-directed video features clips Furious 7 and is a touching tribute to Walker, who passed away while the film was still in production. His brother stepped in to finish the film for the late actor. You can watch the video and read more here.
