(Radio.com) Does English actor Tom Hiddleston have the chops to sing like the late great Hank Williams? Many wondered when Hiddleston was cast to play Williams in the upcoming biopic of the country music legend I Saw the Light.

Now we have video evidence; and while he's no Hank, the actor does an admirable job. The film premiered on Saturday (Oct 17) in Nashville, and the actor surprised after party guests with short set of Williams' covers including, "Hey Good Lookin,'" "Why Don't You Love Me Like You Used To Do," and "Move It On Over."

I Saw the Light is slated to open on November 27th and also stars Elizabeth Olsen as Audrey Williams. Check out the video of Hiddleston's performance of the Hank classics here.
