Snakehips Recruits Tinashe And Chance The Rapper For 'All My Friends'

10/22/2015
.
(Radio.com) As time goes on music genres are blending and forming new subgenres. EDM producer Snakehips is helping that movement with his latest song "All My Friends." The track, which features R&B artist Tinashe and Chance the Rapper, mixes the boom-bap of hip-hop with the melodies and synths of EDM.

The song is a melancholy look at partying too hard. Tinashe sings how all of her friends are drunk and she's always squandering Friday nights drinking and partying. She winds up with an empty feeling afterwards and is looking for a substantial friendship. Chance the Rapper adds his depressed emotions into the mix with lyrics like, "Dying is for real n--, dying off a pill, n--."
