On Friday New Pantera Box Set and History of Hostility Album Set For Release was a top story. Here is the recap: There were be two new Pantera retrospectives released this year beginning with a new compilation entitled "History of Hostility", followed by box set of their final five albums.

The new compilation will be released on CD and vinyl by Rhino on October 30th and will feature nine-tracks from the group's albums spanning from 1990's "Cowboys From To Hell" to their 2000 release "Reinventing the Steel". You can pre-order it and see the cover art and track details here.

That same time period of the band's career will also be the focus the new box set Rhino will be releasing on December 11th. The Complete Studio Albums 1990-2000 will be available as a five-disc CD set as well as a five-disc vinyl LP collection.

The vinyl box will feature the albums ("Cowboys From Hell", "Vulgar Display Of Power," "Far Beyond Driven," "The Great Southern Trendkill," and "Reinventing The Steel") on colored vinyl, as well as a 7-inch single of the non-album songs "Piss" and "Avoid The Light".

"Piss" was released as a bonus track on the 20th anniversary reissue of the "Vulgar Display Of Power" album and "Avoid The Light" was on the soundtrack to the film Dracula 2000. The CD version of the box set can be pre-ordered here and the vinyl version is available - here.
