(Radio.com) Danny Elfman, who has composed the soundtracks to some of the most beloved movies in the last 30 years-including several of famed director Tim Burton's projects-will take the stage at the Hollywood Bowl on Halloween night to perform perhaps his most famous songs to date.

Performing The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack in its entirety, Elfman will once again provide the singing voice for that well-meaning, if misguided, Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington. Other not-yet-named special guests will also take part.

While Elfman will be taking on vocal duties, Elfman hands over conducting responsibilities to John Mauceri, who not only founded the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra but also served as its Director and Conductor for 15 years.

Attendees will also find they've crossed over into the stop motion animated film in several ways. Not only will the film be playing in the background as Elfman and others sing, but the Hollywood Bowl will be decorated as Halloween Town. All those who attend are encouraged to dress like a character from the film. There will even be a costume contest to entice creative minds. Read more and see the event poster here.
