The Beatles 1 Being Expanded For Deluxe Reissue
. Available in single-disc CD, CD/DVD and CD/Blu-ray combos, and even a 2-LP vinyl, the deluxe edition features remixed audio including new stereo mixes and mixes in 5.1 Dolby Digital and DTS HD surround audio. Equally exciting for fans, the deluxe edition combo packs feature numerous promotional videos, many of which have not been made available for purchase before. Via Ultimate Classic Rock, "An 18-person team of film and video technicians and restoration artists was assembled by Apple Corps to undertake painstaking frame-by-frame cleaning, color-grading, digital enhancement and new edits that took months of dedicated, 'round-the-clock work to accomplish." And if that's not enticing enough, The Beatles 1+ adds even more to the pot by offering buyers a Blu-ray (or DVD) featuring alternative endings to several music videos, and an expanded 124-page book. The deluxe editions are now available for pre-order. Check out the additional material for The Beatles 1+ here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
