Ryan Adams To Be First Musical Guest On The New 'Daily Show'

. (Radio.com) The new incarnation of The Daily Show has announced its guests for it's first week, and the first musical performance on the show will be by Ryan Adams, who will be promoting his latest project, his song-for-song cover album of Taylor Swift's 1989.

The show kicks off on September 28 on Comedy Central, but Adams' performance will take place on October 1. The first guest on the show will be comedian Kevin Hart, who will be on the September 28 episode.

September 29 will feature Bumble CEO Whitney Wolfe, while New Jersey Governor and Republican Presidential candidate Chris Christie will appear on September 30 and Adams will round out the week on October 1. Read more here.
