Scott Weiland Reportedly Sued By Lawyers For $50,000
. G&M Law reportedly filed a lawsuit against the singer claiming that Weiland owes them $50,000 for legal services they provided for him in 2013, according to a report from the gossip site TMZ. The firm represented Weiland when he was sued by his former bandmates and they also filed a countersuit on his behalf. He dropped the firm in 2014 and they reportedly claim that he failed to pay his balance with the firm. Weiland and the band eventually settled their dispute, with Stone Temple Pilots retaining their name but with Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington filling the lead vocalist role.
