Chris Brown Facing Ban Down Under Over Criminal Record

. (Radio.com) Chris Brown could have his tour dates in Australia cut because of his previous conviction for assault. According to Billboard, an Australian government minister is looking to keep the embattled singer out of the country, pointing to his highly publicized conviction for assaulting Rihanna in 2009.

"People need to understand if you are going to commit domestic violence and then you want to travel around the world, there are going to be countries that say to you:

'You cannot come in because you are not of the character we expect in Australia,'" said minister for women, Michaelia Cash. "This is a government that is not afraid to say: 'no.'" Read more here.
