Sam Smith On Track To Make History With New James Bond Theme: Sam Smith News
. Smith is on track to score the very first No. 1 single in the UK for a theme song to the James Bond film franchise, according to the country's Official Charts Company. "Writing's on the Wall," so far has twice the combined sales than Justin Bieber's new single "What Do You Mean?," which is his closest competitor on the upcoming chart. None of the previous 23 James Bond theme songs have ever topped the UK charts. Duran Durans' "A View to a Kill" and Adele's "Skyfall" both came close by reaching No. 2, but it appears that Smith will be the first star to claim the No. 1 spot. See the report - here.
