L.A. rockers Blacklist Union have just released a Matt Zane directed video for their single "Evil Eye" and to celebrate we asked frontman Tony West to tell us about the track. The song is from their new album "Back To Momo". Here is the story:

"Evil Eye" is about my mother and the abuse I suffered and endured from her as a little boy. It was devastating. She has rejected me all my life actually. It affects my relationships with women and relating at a deep level. I had to let this go so that I can have peace and move on with my life and be happy joyous and free.

I had to make peace and let it go for my own sanity. I had to let her off the hook and realize she is a sick woman who doesn't know any better. This ran me for so long. I drank and used behind it for years and questioned many things including my own sexuality.

I am a survivor and have a beautiful woman in my life and 2 gorgeous amazing children. So in the end I'm grateful these things happened because I love myself today.

Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself as you watch the video here and learn more about the album right here!
