Tegan And Sara Release 'Hang On To The Night' Video
.
(Radio.com) It seems like Tegan and Sara pop out new videos as quickly as some amped-up rappers release mixtapes. The latest clip from the indie pop darlings is for the song "Hang on to the Night." The animated video was directed and designed by Lisa Hanawalt, who moonlights as the production designer and producer for the Netflix show BoJack Horseman. The surreal, whimsical clip features a giant purple horse that walks like a human, pulls stars from its body and places them in the sky, and strolls around with cats who ride small blue horses. 'The song was a response to a number of sudden deaths in our family and my anxiety about mortality," Sara Quin told Nylon. "If you can manage to hang on, you can face another day." Read more here.
