Aretha Franklin Cancels Concerts Due To Health Concerns

(Radio.com) Aretha Franklin canceled more concerts under doctor's orders. The music legend has been doing her best to keep tour dates on the agenda in 2016, but they keep getting canceled. Early this year, a pair of Florida shows were determined to be understaffed. Later on, travel requirements for a show in Oklahoma proved insurmountable. Now, "doctors' orders" have caused the Queen of Soul to cancel five dates through the fall. The canceled shows: An August 26 concert in Vienna, Virginia; a solo performance and a duet engagement with Tony Bennett at Radio City Music Hall; and October shows in Detroit and St. Louis.
