Smashing Pumpkins Announce North American Tour With Liz Phair

(Radio.com) The Smashing Pumpkins will hit the road this spring with a special guest opener: Liz Phair. The '90s icons will visit 19 cities across America, and the tour will be followed by a new Smashing Pumpkins record.

It's unclear whether that release will be a full album or just a smattering of new music. Either way, Pumpkins fans and Liz Phair diehards will have a chance to see the artists live in March and April.

The tour begins in Portland, Oregon, on March 22. Billy Corgan will be joined by original Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlain for the tour. See the tour dates here.
