The Doobie Brothers To Warm Fans Up For NASCAR Race

(RM) The Doobie Brothers have announced that they will be performing the pre-race concert at the NASCAR Food City 500 which will be taking place on Sunday, April 17 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Dobbie Brothers cofounder Tom Johnston had the following to say, "We are looking forward to playing for NASCAR in Bristol. Race fans know how to have a good time!"

Patrick Simmons adds, "We love the atmosphere of competition racing, and the folks who come to these events. The anticipation and electricity in the air, as well as the camaraderie of the fans and competitors, always make these races special, and a great experience for all those who attend. I know our music will fit right in there with the whole spirit of the event. We can't wait to get there!"

Bristol Motor Speedway executive vice president and general manager Jerry Caldwell shared his excitement, "We can't wait to see the Doobie Brothers' energetic performance at the Food City 500 pre-race concert.

"They are an American musical institution with many songs guests will recognize and sing along to; it will be a memorable experience for everyone."
