Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie Talks 'Victorious' (Top Story)

.
On Friday Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie Talks 'Victorious' was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) Brendon Urie and his Panic! At The Disco bandmates are enjoying an ever growing audience and sold out shows around the world, and it has a lot to do with their recent string of hits. But the tracks aren't exactly like the others Urie's churned out in the past.

The new batch of songs on Death of Bachelor are far from the lyrically dark tracks fans are familiar with. In fact, the album launched with "Hallelujah" followed by "Victorious," two positive and upbeat sing-alongs that have audiences on their feet from start to finish.

But what sparked a song like "Victorious" with its upbeat underdog-to-winner-the-world-is-one-big-party message? Is it his career's skyward trajectory or his relationship with wife Sarah?

Urie admits he's normally inspired by much weightier feelings from his past. "This was a rare moment, Urie tells Radio.com. "Halfway through writing the album I hit a moment where I hadn't felt that excited in a long time and it sparked the idea of wanting to write this invincible, indestructible, confident song that portrayed exactly how I felt about the whole process up to that point." Urie explains that it was an eye-opening moment.

The 28 year old frontman recalls the exact moment the song was written and describes it as "revelatory" and "celebratory." "I wanted to showcase the party in me," Urie admits with a smile. The song has awaken a demon in him. "The monster's out of the cage," he says. "All I wanna do is party." Read more - here.
