(Radio.com) Jason Aldean kicked off his We Are Here tour last week with Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses. The opening night show included a few surprises for fans.

Aldean was joined on stage for "1994" by Thomas Rhett, who co-wrote the tune with Luke Laird and Barry Dean (watch below). Additionally, the show's sizzle reel shows Rhett playing drums for part of his set.

"We kicked off 2016 right in Moline, IL last night," Rhett wrote on Instagram. "I could not be more proud of my band, my team and everyone involved in making this show what it is. Huge shout out to the fans that show up night after night and scream all the words to all the songs! Much love." Check it out here.
