Lemmy's Official Cause Of Death Revealed

(hennemusic) The official cause of death of Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister has been revealed. The band announced the bassist passed away from an aggressive form of cancer at his Los Angeles home on December 28th.

It was just four days after his 70th birthday and two days after he received word of his health diagnosis. Now, TMZ reports the rocker's death certificate lists prostate cancer, cardiac arrhythmia and congestive heart failure as the official causes of death.

Family, friends and fellow rockers paid tribute to the Motorhead icon at a January 9 memorial service in Hollywood that was streamed live to more than 250,000 viewers worldwide via the band's YouTube channel. Read more here.
