Slipknot Announce Rescheduled Dates Due To Corey's Broken Neck
.
Slipknot have announced the rescheduled dates for their North American tour. They were forced to postpone the first twelve dates of the tour so that frontman Corey Taylor could recover from 'unplanned' spinal surgery. The band was supposed to kick off the tour with Marilyn Manson tomorrow night (June 9th) but were forced to push back the launch after Taylor discovered that he had broken his neck and needed surgery. Taylor explained to fans, "Basically broke my neck a while back & didn't realize it. Had 2 have disc replaced & work on vertebrae. Those 1st shows rescheduled for Aug." The newly rescheduled dates will be kicking off on August 7th in Denver at the Pepsi Center (originally schedule for Red Rocks) and conclude on August 27th in Austin, TX at the 360 Amphitheatre. Apart from the Red Rocks show, the band was forced to change one other venue from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to the T-Mobile arena. Slipknot's Rescheduled Dates:
