Dead & Company Expand North American Tour

Grateful Dead offshoot Dead & Company have expanded their upcoming North American summer tour plans with the addition of a new leg of west coast concerts.

The new western U.S. leg includes single shows in Oregon (Portland) and Washington (George) as well as four concerts in cities spread across California (Irvine, Chula Vista, Wheatland and Mountain View).

The full summer tour will kick off on June 10th in Charlotte, NC at the PNC Music Pavilion and will now conclude with the Mountain View, CA concert on July 30th at the Shoreline Amphitheatre.

The shows will feature two sets of music from the Grateful Dead's vast catalog performed by original Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir, who will be joined by John Mayer, Allman Brothers' bassist Oteil Burbridge; and "Fare Thee Well" and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti.
