. Pompeii Culture Minister Dario Franceschini took to Twitter today to make the official announcement writing, "Agreement reached. After 45 years David Gilmour will play again at Pompeii on July 7 and 8." See it below. Back in 1971, Pink Floyd filmed their classic Live at Pompeii concert over four days, where the band played at the Amphitheater of Pompeii without an audience.
