Blake Shelton Releases 'Came Here To Forget' Video

03/31/2016
.
(Radio.com) Blake Shelton has released a music video for his latest single "Came Here To Forget." The track is the first single from Shelton's forthcoming 12th studio album If I'm Honest, which will be released on May 20th.

'I've had a lot of music over the years but I don't think I've ever had a song before that's such a direct look into my life," Shelton said in a statement. 'That's why I'm so excited about this particular song."

The song opens with the lyrics: 'Girl you're getting over him, I'm getting over her," an opening salvo many have read as encompassing his current relationship with Gwen Stefani, who recently split from Gavin Rossdale, and his own recent divorce from Miranda Lambert.

The video co-stars the beautiful Ukrainian model Ganna Bogdan and was released in conjunction with the Season 12 premiere of Discovery Channel's hit reality show, Deadliest Catch. Watch the video here.
