Scorpions Forced To Cancel Tour For Medical Reasons (Recap)
. After being assessed by a doctor and diagnosed with an advanced viral infection and larynx and trachea inflammation, gigs in Cologne, Leipzig, Frankfurt and Berlin have been pulled. Scorpions have vowed to announce rescheduled dates for the gigs, including the Hamburg show, in the coming days. Meine says: "Sorry to all our fans. Thanks for your understanding. Hope we can make up for the concerts soon." In a further statement, the band says: "On Monday evening, March 21, Klaus Meine had to break off the fifth of the nine German concerts in Hamburg Barclaycard Arena after just 30 minutes.
