Here is the recap: (Radio.com) Driven by his signature tribal rhythms, intricate yet simple melodies and percussive treatments, and embellished with ideas drawn from EDM, Paul Simon has presented another collection of poetically charged stories in song. His new album Stranger to Stranger is his first since 2011's So Beautiful or So What. Simon said the album is "about getting you to actually hear something in a new way ' about making music that sounds old and new at the same time - music with a sense of mystery." Stranger to Stranger is currently available for streaming on NPR's First Listen. Simon branched out musically during sessions for the album by working with Italian EDM artist Clap! Clap!, who he says is an artist that "makes music sound new and old at the same time" and utilizes the unique tonal approaches pioneered by composer Harry Partch. Read more - here.
