Alicia Keys Address Modern Families on New Track
.
(Radio.com) Alicia Keys' new track "Blended Family (What You Do For Love)" addresses the love that binds modern families--stepfathers, half-siblings, baby-mamas and step kids. Keys says she felt inspired by the role husband Swizz Beatz' kids by former wife Mashonda play in her life, and the maturity with which the adults have faced challenges. "It means so much to me and our whole family," said Keys in a prepared statement. "The understanding, compassion and support we've found is a powerful testament to the healing that comes when we choose love. Especially for the kids' the most important part of our lives. Celebrating Mashonda for our commitment to each other with support and true growth." Read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. advertisement |
