Bryson Tiller Returns With New Song 'Let Me Explain'

(Radio.com) Bryson Tiller hasn't shared much in the way of original music since releasing his debut studio album T R A P S O U L last October. But in the wee hours between Wednesday (Oct. 12) and Thursday (Oct. 13), he released his new track "Let Me Explain". The song has a touch of Drake about it, old school Drake that is. "Let Me Explain" has a chill vibe and a strong beat while Tiller's smooth vocals wax lyrical about a failing relationship he can't salvage. Throughout the track, Tiller keeps trying to "explain," but finds that he can approach his reason, circle it, but never fully articulate it. "Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, don't be afraid to/ Tell me that's it over, tell me that's it over/ No, I don't deserve you, the s— I never told you/ There's too many things, I can't look you in the face/ I just grab you by the waist and act like everything's ok," he sings.
