Tove Lo Streams New Track 'Influence' Featuring Wiz Khalifa
.
(Radio.com) Tove Lo has premiered a new track "Influence" featuring Wiz Khalifa which is the second single from her album "Lady Wood". The follow up to her 2014 debut studio album Queen Of The Clouds is set to be release don October 28th. The breathy, slick song features the tight Swedish production that has marked the singer's music thus far. What starts as a subdued feel on the verses builds into a fuller, bigger boom when she hits the chorus. "You know I'm under the influence/ So don't trust every word I say (I say)/ When I'm under the influence/ It's a blur but I want my way (my way)," Tove Lo repeats. Tove Lo may be singing about feeling love's heady emotion, but it's an equal opportunity experience. "Boy meets boy meets girl meets girl," she sings on the bridge, every gender finding a partner no matter who they choose. Khalifa's verse comes in hot and fast, as he raps about meeting a girl who he admires for her drive and ambition, but he won't be getting in the way. "Make a move and get famous/ Get your mission completed," he raps, his quick pace contrasting the song's laidback vibe. Check out the new song here.
