Gorillaz Start Instagram With New Music Teases

(Radio.com) The Gorillaz have started an Instagram page that is getting fans excited about the possibility of new music. Jamie Hewlett and Damon Albarn of collective launched the account Tuesday morning (Sept. 20) and the posts span the duo's career with cartoon-based images and music video clips. In July, Albarn revealed that a new Gorillaz album is coming soon. 'Later in the year we'll be starting to get the whole Gorillaz thing together," Albarn told BBC Radio 6. 'I'm loving it and it's getting there. It should be ready fairly soon." Meanwhile, De La Soul member Pos has confirmed that they are working with the cartoon band as is Snoop Dogg. 'We actually sat down with Damon (Albarn) two weeks ago and he played us some of the new Gorillaz album, and it sounds amazing," Pos told The Guardian. 'He played us a track that he wants us to get off on his album so we got to get in the studio and put that down." See some of the post here.
