(Radio.com) Courtney Love just got a new job. The Hole frontwoman has landed a starring role in a Lifetime movie about the 1989 murders of Jose and Kitty Menendez by their sons, Lyle and Erik.

Love, who plays Kitty Menendez, previously starred in the 1996 movie The People vs. Larry Flint, winning many critics circle awards and even receiving a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress - Motion Picture Drama.

The filmmaker's goal for the Menendez movie is to reveal the 'extreme abuse the brothers endured at their father's hands, while their mother looked the other way." Read more here.
