Bob Seger Adds Final Hometown Shows To Farewell Tour03-13-2019
(hennemusic) Following news of four consecutive sell-outs, Bob Seger has added a final pair of shows in his hometown of Detroit, MI to his farewell tour. "Thank you, Detroit!," says Seger. "The fourth Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band show at DTE sold out during the fan club presale, so there will not be a Saturday on sale. "We have booked two more shows for Detroit fans on Wednesday, June 19 and Friday, June 21. While we wish we could go on forever, these two additional shows will be Seger's final 'Pine Knob'" shows of the Roll Me Away Tour." A presale for Seger's Bullet Club members will begin Tuesday, March 12 at 10 AM local time, while general public tickets will go on sale Saturday, March 16 at 10 AM local time. The pair of new dates will mark Seger's 33rd and 34th concerts at the venue, originally known as the Pine Knob Music Theatre due to its proximity to a nearby ski area and golf course of the same name. Fans continue to await confirmation if the series will mark the final concerts by the music legend after six decades of live performances.
